MetaMoba is not the first Blockchain-based MOBA game, hence we focused on creating a platform completely owned and governed by the community. Custom Maps, which are adjustments or modifications to the original game developed by players or fans, have thrived for long in the Battle and MOBA genres. MetaMoba generates the resources required for ten years of development and lets the community to build and commercialise custom modes, maps, and skins. This throws up a world of possibilities, but it must be handled carefully. Projects have been abandoned and stagnated in the past under the guise of "decentralisation." It will take time to convert to a truly decentralised structure.
