Meanwhile, the arrival of blockchain technology significantly raises the bar for game production. Due to the excellent features of blockchain technology, such as decentralisation, security, transparency, and freedom, traditional games can now accomplish feats previously thought unachievable.

GameFi was developed out of these elements and has since gained the attention of the mainstream gaming community and big game developers for its unique combination of entertainment and financial incentives.
